Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We have always followed recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We have installed a state of the art air purification system from Global Plasma Solutions. It is a modular ionization air purification system. This virtually eliminates static SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) using proprietary Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization technology (NPBI). In a test on SARS-CoV2, it has achieved a 99.4% reduction rate of the surface strain within 30 minutes. The /col delivers clean indoor air that is safe and healthy- producing neither ozone nor other harmful products. It purifies the air by eliminating airborne particulates, odors and pathogens. We have also installed three air purification units in the treatment area that are manufactured by Surgically Clean Air. These units provide six stage air filtration and purification processing that includes the use of ultraviolet light.
We are constantly updating our protocols to stay current with all CDC recommendations and guidelines.
As of Monday, October 17th, 2022 face coverings are no longer required in healthcare facilities per the Pritzker administration and the CDC.
